What is a data driven organization?

There have been many case studies over the last 5 years which demonstrate the disruption caused by “data-driven businesses” – using insights to change business models, understand customers, automate processes and drive new revenues.  Into the future, this concept will become an integral part of what it takes to compete successfully; allowing organizations to understand and run the depth of their operations, work with their customers and partners and take part in external activities in new ecosystems.

What tools do telcos require in the short and mid-term?
